What is Dr.vel?
Dr.vel is a brand focused on hair transplants and hair health. Our brand is new, but our experience in this field is not: we have been providing hair transplant services for 15 years and have welcomed more than 20,000 clients to date.
In our procedures, we use long-hair and unshaven hair transplant, FUE and DHI. The doctor who examines you decides which of these suits you; to do so, they assess your hair type, the extent of your hair loss and your donor area (the area the grafts are taken from).
We are with you throughout the process
A hair transplant does not end on the day of the procedure. Transplanted hair takes months to grow; for most people, the result becomes clear at around 12 months, and it may take longer at the crown. For one year after the procedure, from the first wash to the scabs coming off, and from the shock loss phase to the growth of new hairs, we follow the progress of your hair together with you.
We deal not only with the transplant but also with the loss of your existing hair: during the examination, we assess the possible causes of your hair loss and plan the supportive treatments your doctor considers suitable for you. A transplant does not stop the loss of your own hair in areas that were not transplanted; that is why the condition of the hair you already have also affects how you look in the long run.
We want you to make your decision about a hair transplant with no questions left in your mind. That is why we answer all your questions clearly and in plain language, from the initial call through to the end of your follow-up.
Our working principles
- Realistic expectations Until we have examined you, we do not make firm statements about whether you are suitable or what result you can expect. Results vary from person to person, so we do not promise definite results.
- We explain the limitations too No method is suitable for everyone. We also state clearly what the limitations of each method are and who it may not be suitable for.
- A doctor decides on suitability The doctor who examines you decides which method is suitable for you. The initial call is for answering your questions and explaining the process.
- We do not advertise prices or promotions We do not share prices, discounts or promotions on this site. We discuss the cost with you one-on-one after the initial call and planning.
- We protect your data We do not ask for health information or photos in the hair analysis form. We process your personal data as described in our privacy notice.
